Short version: Private Text Scanner is designed as an offline, privacy-first document scanning app. Your scans, photos, OCR text, notes, tags, and generated files stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. We do not operate a cloud service for this app, do not require an account, and do not upload your scanned documents to our servers.
1. App covered by this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Android app Private Text Scanner, also known in Chinese as 隐私文本扫描仪, package name com.scanvault.app.google.
2. Data we process on your device
The app may process the following data locally on your device to provide scanning and OCR features:
- Photos captured with the camera for document scanning.
- Scanned document images saved inside the app's private storage.
- OCR text recognized from scanned documents.
- Document titles, tags, notes, page count, rotation, and export status.
- PDF files or shared text files that you create using the app.
- App settings, such as interface language, OCR languages, and OCR model selection.
This data is stored locally on your device. The app does not require registration or login.
3. Camera permission
The app requests camera permission so you can scan paper documents. Camera images are used for scanning and OCR. The app does not use the camera for advertising, tracking, profiling, or background monitoring.
4. OCR and document processing
OCR processing is performed on the device. The app includes local OCR technology, including ML Kit text recognition and PP-OCRv5 model files. Scanned images are not uploaded by the app for OCR processing.
5. Purchases
The app may offer a lifetime Pro purchase through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. We do not collect or store your full payment card information. Google may process purchase-related information according to Google's own policies.
6. Sharing and exporting
You can choose to export PDFs or share recognized OCR text to other apps. When you share or export content, the selected recipient app or service may receive the content you choose to share. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share scanned documents, OCR text, notes, tags, or files with third parties unless you intentionally export or share them from your device.
8. Analytics, ads, and tracking
The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use scanned content for advertising. The current app does not require an account and does not use scanned documents for analytics or profiling.
9. Data retention and deletion
Your scanned documents and recognized text remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. You can delete scanned documents from the document list. Uninstalling the app removes app-private data from the device according to Android system behavior.
10. Security
The app stores documents in app-private storage provided by Android. No method of storage is perfect, but the app is designed to minimize privacy risk by keeping scanning and OCR local to the device.
11. Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us using the developer contact listed on Google Play.
12. International users
The app is designed to avoid cloud transfer of scanned documents. If you choose to share exported content with another app or service, that service may process the data in other regions according to its own policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The updated version will show a new effective date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.

7. 数据共享
我们不会出售你的个人数据。除非你主动导出或分享，本应用不会向第三方共享你的扫描件、OCR 文本、备注、标签或文件。
8. 分析、广告和跟踪
应用不包含第三方广告 SDK，也不会把扫描内容用于广告目的。当前版本不要求账号登录，也不会使用扫描文件进行分析或用户画像。
9. 数据保留和删除
扫描文档和识别文本会保留在你的设备上，直到你在应用中删除它们或卸载应用。你可以在文档列表中删除扫描文档。卸载应用时，Android 系统通常会删除应用私有数据。
10. 安全
应用使用 Android 提供的应用私有存储保存文档。任何存储方式都无法保证绝对安全，但本应用通过本地处理扫描和 OCR 来降低隐私风险。
11. 儿童隐私
本应用并非面向儿童设计。我们不会故意收集儿童的个人信息。如果你认为儿童通过本应用提供了个人信息，请使用 Google Play 商店页显示的开发者联系方式联系我们。
12. 国际用户
本应用设计上避免将扫描文件上传到云端。如果你主动把导出的内容分享到其他应用或服务，该服务可能会根据其自身政策在其他地区处理相关数据。
